AT&T Sparky Central showed its last Grand Puba of the season a great time Saturday at the ASU Men’s Basketball game. The Devils were unfortunately defeated by the U of A Wildcats but we still enjoyed watching the game with Grand Puba Brianna. Brianna was so excited to watch the in-state rival between the Sun Devils and Wildcats as were the rest of the Sun Devils who showed up to the sold out Wells Fargo Arena. We got to check out all the action from the Sidelines and Brianna even got to go on the court to address all of the ASU fans. You can see Brianna in action on this video we took on the AT&T Blackberry Bold!

We had a blast cheering on the Sun Devils with Brianna! Our guys take on California at Wells Fargo Arena Thursday. Be there to cheer them on!

AT&T Catches the Grand Puba in Action!

The Sun Devils seem to be unstoppable these days! The ASU Men’s Basketball team has gone 4 for 4 in the past two weeks beating out PAC-10 competitors University of Washington, Washington State, University of Oregon and Oregon State. The streak started of at home against Washington and AT&T was there to catch the Devils take down the Huskies with the Grand Puba of the game, Brianna. Brianna is only 15 years old but she already has the spirit of a Sun Devil. Check out these pictures captured on the iPhone exclusive to AT&T!

Brianna and her best friend knew the game and every player. They quickly became huge fans of Rihards Kuksiks, as he continuously fired out 3-pointers. The game was close in the first half but in the second the Devils ran away with the ball. I must say though, my favorite part of the game was watching Brianna get her in-game recognition. Devils Set to Get Back On Winning Streak

The Sun Devils faced back to back  defeats on the road. Both UCLA and USC dropped the Devils just after winning 4 in a row at home. The good news is our men in maroon and gold are back in town where they always play their best. The team takes on Washington State on Friday. The Sun Devils dominated at home the last four games taking down Delaware State, San Diego State, UC Santa Barbara and USC Upstate. This week the team heads to Los Angeles to take on UCLA on New Year’s Eve. After that they take on the USC Trojans on January 2nd. When the team returns to Arizona they will play University of Washington on January 8th. You could get free tickets to this game for you and a friend if you become the next Grand Puba! Can You Get More Votes Than the Reigning Grand Puba?

I’m sure you remember Dave “Big Guy” Berman, the Grand Puba from the Duel in the Desert. Well, AT&T Sparky Central has turned to basketball and the Big Guy is STILL dominating the Grand Puba contest! Not only is Dave the most passionate Sun Devil fan I know, but this guy has a lot of friends. I think he might be more of a mascot to Arizona State than Sparky! Right now Dave continues to dominate the contest with 2,666 votes. So here is my challenge to you: get more votes than the Big Guy. ASU Basketball is Heating Up at Home!

ASU hosted San Diego State Saturday and it was a heck of a ride! The Aztecs and Sun Devils were neck and neck the entire game but ASU came out on top with a 55-52 win. If you haven’t been paying attention to this team now is  a good time to start! The team has two more games in the current four game homestand. They have won the first two and with a with a 7-1 record at home it won’t be surprising if they add some more wins to that record. It’s also an exciting time for team leader Derek Glasser. Glasser is currently tied for the most career assists in ASU history and it’s going to be a big moment when he breaks that record! ASU hosts UC Santa Barbara tonight at Wells Fargo Arena. Gooooo Devils!

ASU Men’s basketball dominated Delaware State over the weekend with a 76 to 34 win!! We have another Saturday game coming up this Saturday the 19th against San Diego State and it is the first time that ASU Basketball will have a Grand Puba. Moving On… to Basketball!

Football season is officially behind us and I think we can all agree that it’s about time! If you haven’t been keeping up, the ASU Men’s Basketball team is heading into the season with an amazing start! They have won 6 out of 8 games this season and the team is looking strong. They are hitting the road tomorrow to take on BYU in Utah but they are coming back to Tempe for four consecutive home games.
